The daily dress rehearsals for our upcoming Triple Bill have kept us changing back and forth from tutus to trousers… dawning bright red lipstick, ribbon chokers or suspenders and spacing into the wee hours of the night…Recent run throughs for a personal favorite of mine has inspired my wardrobe and left me dreaming of violinists…Les Lutins is a pas de trois choreographed on the Royal Ballet of London by one talented Johan Kobborg. The choreography is fast, fearless and accompanied by a rather captivating virtuoso violinist who plays on the corner of the stage. Such surreal opportunities of dancing for and amongst the world’s great talents inspired me to bake what is known here as Drømme Kage, or Dream Cake. A vanilla flavored sponge cake topped with an unforgiving layer of coconut, brown sugar and butter…baked until golden and sizzling with temptation…

Another week of dancing & dreaming before Easter allows us a few days off…
